Do Estate Agents Deserve Their Bad Press?
How about starting off this with the signs that you have a bit of a rubbish agent. Well the first thing that springs to mind is the fact that you do not seem to of had many viewings if any in the last 6 months. What are you paying these people for? This is just one reason that you should think about switching your agent. How about that agent that is always trying to get you to drop prices. To be honest if it is by a small amount I would say go for it but if it is by a lot I would say you need to be looking at getting someone else. Without the money from a decent house sale you will find it very hard to gain acess to a better house when you move out.
What are they worth?
Of course it is true to say that most estate agents are quite good at what they do and you will be able to tell this almost immediately after they have signed on with you. One of the best signs is that you will start to get a lot of interest in the home almost immediatly. The recession is still very much in the minds of people which is why you need to give estate agents a little bit of tiem when getting people into the house.
